Engineered Solutions of Georgia (ESOG) Installs (303) Helical Piles to Support an Elevated Concrete Trail in Appharetta, GA
Project Description
(303) helical piles were installed including end bents/abutments. The large Pedestrian Bridge’s helical piles were deleted due to large, un-locatable, underground utilities in the area
Plans originally called for elevated concrete bents/beams supported by helical piles (+/- 30’ O.C.) to support the bridge beams. The general contractor decided to change that part of the original design and converted it to steel bents. Other design components remained per the original plans.
