Project Description
Rice Energy recognized the efficiencies available by using helical piles for equipment foundation supports. TEK provided the design and installation of the piles as well as the installation of the equipment and associated piping. Installation of the hollow square tube helical piles was completed in (6) days, and the entire project was completed in (2) months. Using helical piles instead of a concrete foundation considerably shortened the construction process. Crews are able to start the construction process just as soon as the helical piles are installed instead of waiting for concrete to cure..
