TEK Helical Piles Installs (46) Helical Piles to Support the Rice Energy Loki Valve Yard in Beallsville, OH
Project Description
This valve yard consisting of Launchers and Receivers had been previously installed on wood dunnage and mechanically completed by another contractor. TEK was contracted to install the permanent helical foundations for the existing fabrications and remove the dunnage. (2) helical piles and a W8x31 typ. set up at defined intervals was used to span the fabrication. Installation of the hollow square tube helical piles was completed in (4) days. Using helical piles instead of a concrete foundation considerably shortened the construction process.
