Project Overview
Pilotes Helicoidales Nicaragua was hired by HEMCO Mineros to design and install seven helical piles to support and stop the differential settlement of a slab that supports the main gold processing mill in Bonanza Nicaragua.

Key Benefits
- No down time during piles installation: the underpinning with helical piles allowed the customer to continue producing without stopping the mill or other operations adjacent to it without problems or preventing delays in their daily production.
- Engineering and versatility: By using helical piles it allowed the final design to have special sections length, which allowed for smaller equipment to be used during installation.
- Time saving: Despite of numerous unforeseeable obstacles during installation that cause a two-day delayed, the underpinning was successfully and accomplished in an acceptable time for the client.
