Danbro Hires "Rainmaker" for Business Development

ts, has hired a business development professional. R. Scott Crosthwait joined the company in the newly created role in August. Building on his career in sales, for the past fourteen years, Mr. Crosthwait specialized in new business development. Most recently, as Director of Business Development for FabriTRAK, Mid-Atlantic, Scott generated millions in revenue and cultivated relationships with architects, interior design professionals, and contractors in the Northeastern United States. He was so successful that management christened him the “Rainmaker.”
“We have been looking for the right person for a while,” stated Frank D’Angelo, Danbro’s President, “but waited until we found someone with a proven track record who would fit into our culture. Scott has the background, know-how, and grit it takes for this role.” At Danbro, we grow our business by introducing prospective owners, developers, and GCs to the possibilities offered by using IDEAL foundation products. The more design-build opportunities and economic foundation solutions we uncover, the more projects our installers can bid. This initiative is just another extension of the service and support our customers have come to expect. Scott’s endeavors will be just another effort on our part to uncover more work to keep our customers busy. 
A well-rounded individual with interests in music, film, culinary creativity, health and nature, Scott has lived and traveled
abroad, enjoying adventurous pursuits such as surfing, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking. His preference for team sports is most definitely “the beautiful game” of soccer, in which he has been an accomplished player, long-term coach for his daughter, and an enduring fan.
Keeping Danbro’s marketing department busy with collateral suggestions and requests, Scott is already traveling throughout the region, calling on GCs, design professionals, and engineers, and introducing Danbro through constructive, construction-related conversation. “DANBRO’s mix of products, service, and support make good companions for the audience with which I interact,” Scott stated. “This presents greater profit opportunities for them, while insuring more leads and potential projects for our existing customers.”
