Phase 1 began with our team providing foundation support to a retaining wall using helical piles. We installed the required helical piles to the appropriate capacity and moved on to the next leg of the project. It was imperative that we secured the retaining wall first, as we would not have had access to do so if we proceeded with the installation of helical piles for the swimming pool first.
Phase 2 of the project began once the swimming pool was dug. Our team arrived on site and installed helical piles to a depth of 21′, 7′ past what was estimated. Helper piles were required due to some pilings not securing the pile capacity of 12 tons, due to the site’s soil conditions.
