Co-Sponsored by and The Deep Foundations Institute

It’s a year away, but the wheels were put in motion a few days ago when Terracon Cincinnati executed the soil borings at the event’s site – Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Cincinnati, Ohio.  This first-of-its-kind event for our industry will provide attendees with up close and personal viewing of live helical pile, tieback and anchor installations and live static and dynamic compression load tests, static tension and lateral load tests.  Industry-leading manufacturers and their certified contractors will be installing helical pile and anchor products of all sizes along with connection to structure products for both the civil and utility markets.

Manufacturers of torque motors and torque monitoring systems will be exhibiting at the event as well.

In addition to the live installations and load testing, there will also be educational presentations by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable professionals in the helical pile industry. The speaker presentations will be taking place in a structure that is just a few yards away from the live demonstration area, so the two-day event will be very efficient for everyone attending – along with free parking, a large hospitality tent, food and beverages.

The event planning team has been assembled, and the structure of the entire event will be completed in the near future.  Once this effort is finished, more information will be forthcoming about the event, which will include speaker presentation topics, more details about product installations, load testing information, attendee pricing for the two days and logistical information including a list of hotels.

Who Should Plan on Attending?

Targeted attendees include contractors, engineers, building officials, utility and transportation professionals, civil engineering professors and civil engineering students.
