Beginning late last year, Empire Piers LLC (“Empire”), a national helical pile systems manufacturer, moved into its new company headquarters complex located in Winfield, MO. The new facility enabled the company to combine two operations previously located in Crestwood and Louisiana, MO. The Crestwood operation was formerly the manufacturing facility for Fasteel, Inc. - a helical pile manufacturer acquired by Empire late in 2013.
The new facility contains a 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing building along with four additional buildings when expansion becomes necessary. In addition, the complex has five acres of outside storage area for materials. “We now have the space required to inventory larges quantities of raw materials and finished products, so we can do an even better job of meeting our customers’ product requirements,” said Vice President of Operations, Mike Vance. “With our commitment to sustained growth, we have been successful in attracting talented people for all aspects of our operations from manufacturing to engineering to sales and customer support,” Vance added.
Empire manufacturers a variety of square and large diameter round shaft helical piles in addition to a host of application-specific terminators and connection solutions. One noteworthy product is the company’s hollow square tube helicals that are available in both 3” and 4” diameter with ultimate capacities up to 270 kips.
“We would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support for Empire and for fueling our phenomenal growth. “We look forward to supplying all of their helical pile and anchor needs by supplying them with high quality, competitively priced American made products for the residential, commercial and energy markets,” Vance continued.
